FC Cincinnati striker Kevin Denkey scored a goal of the season contender on Saturday as FCC defeated Sporting Kansas City 2-1 in MLS action. The Togolese forward leapt into the air for a stunning bicycle kick in the 79th minute, doubling FCC's lead late in the match, and scoring the eventual winner.
He scored their first of the day as well, opening the scoring in the match in the 43rd minute. SKC earned a late goal back in the 89th minute through Zorhan Bassong, but it was too little, too late.
Signed as a Designated Player in a $16.2M transfer from Belgian club Cercle Brugge, the 24-year-old is now up to six goals in his debut season.

FCC are now up to 22 points on the season, and sit atop the Eastern Conference after their victory. However, the standings could change come the end of Matchday 11, as Wilfried Zaha's Charlotte FC trail them by three points and have a higher goal-differential than them heading into their match against the New England Revolution on Saturday.
Cincy, meanwhile, are in red-hot form and have won five-straight matches.
