da roleta: After an eighth-placed finish last season, Liverpool supporters can be more than content with how their campaign is progressing thus far.
da bet vitoria: The Reds currently find themselves six points off table-toppers Chelsea, but can Jurgen Klopp’s side improve in 2017 to claim a first Premier League title?
The Merseysiders have recorded three successive victories to ensure the pace with the west Londoners is kept with heading into the new year.
Despite the progression that has been consistently made at Anfield, Klopp will be keen to improve on some recurring issues that continue hamper the team.
Anfield has become something of a fortress once again under Klopp, but however strong the Reds may be in front of their own supporters, it still doesn’t cover all the issues present in the side.
Ahead of the upcoming New Year, here are THREE things Liverpool must improve on in 2017 to end their domestic title drought.
Tighten up at the back
One significant cause of the gap between Liverpool and Chelsea at the summit of the table has been the Reds’ frailties at the back.
When you consider the Reds have conceded almost double the goals Chelsea have this campaign, it’s no wonder they’re six points behind.
In fact, no team in the top eight has conceded more goals than Klopp’s side.
Be more consistent regardless of the opposition
Enormous praise must be heaped upon Klopp for improving the club’s big game performances, which have seen Liverpool rarely against the so-called ‘big five’ during his time in England.
Nonetheless, despite the impressive showings on big occasions, the Reds continue to drop a significant number of points against lower table teams.
If the Reds can amend this issue, who knows what 2017 could bring.
Goalkeeper Dilemma
German goalkeeper Loris Karius has lost his regular first-team place to last season’s relatively un-fancied Simon Mignolet.
The Belgian was deemed not good enough for the number one position yet was brought back into the side when Karius’ form took a worrying dip.
Klopp must solve the issue quickly if Liverpool are to claim this season’s title. It’s almost impossible to win the Premier League without a top-class goalie.
