Juventus announced Allegri's sacking Friday afternoon – much to the shock of nobody after reports surfaced hours prior that the Bianconeri's board had made a decision.
Wingback Tim Weah, however, was seemingly disappointed with the decision, dubbing it a "sad day in Turin" in a social media posting thanking the Italian.

The Bianconeri paid Lille $13m for Weah's services last summer, being their only addition during the transfer window. The American never truly found himself in his debut campaign in Italy, but learned how to express versatility as a wingback in Allegri's five-defender-system.
Now, at the end of his first season with Juventus, Allegri is out – and Weah had to thank his boss for both the opportunity and everything he learned from him.
WHAT WEAH POSTED
"Dear Mister Allegri," he wrote. "As you step away from Juventus, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the dedication and passion you brought to our club. Thank you for believing in me and thank you for changing my life. I will forever by in debt!!!"

Juventus have two matches left this season, and will wrap up their campaign without Allegri at the helm. Whether or not Weah stays this summer is still unknown but for the American, his priority will be representing his country at the Copa America this summer.
