da betway: Under-pressure Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has been reassured that the club's prospective new owners have full faith in him being to the right man to get the Reds back on track.
da esoccer bet: Hodgson took charge at Anfield in the summer and the former Fulham boss has seen his new charges make a dismal start to the new campaign.
However, New England Sports Ventures believe that the experienced coach is capable of engineering a turnaround in fortunes.
Club chairman Martin Broughton confirmed:"They are very happy that this manager is the right person to take this club forward.
"They talk enthusiastically about winning and investing in the team, stadium development and doing all the right things.
"I think they are going to be pretty hands-on and they have a track record of that."
Meanwhile, Hodgson has reacted positively to the news that a takeover at Anfield seems to be close at hand.
He told the club's official website:"It's very positive and of course I'm delighted. It's been going on a long time and I know how hard the board have worked to set things up.
"I know it's not easy for them because the owners have other ideas in terms of the sale of the club and what is achievable.
"But I was delighted to hear the news and have it confirmed that it looks like it is going to go through."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
