da betway: James Wilson made his Manchester United debut during the 2012-13 campaign – scoring twice in the Premier League against Hull City.
da pinnacle: He went on to make 17 appearances for the Red Devils during the 2014-15 season, but managed just two goals, and was sent on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion for the next campaign.
Wilson also spent time with Derby County last season, although he failed to score in four Championship appearances before suffering a serious knee problem.
The striker is still just 21 years old, however, and has scored twice in six Premier League 2 appearances for United’s Under-23 team this season.
He was also on the scoresheet against Athletic Bilbao in the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday night, and his performance brought a host of praise from the United fans.
Indeed, one supporter even claimed that Wilson could have made a similar impact as Marcus Rashford had a number of things fallen his way after brilliant debut.
After overcoming a serious knee injury, Wilson is back scoring goals, and if that continues, Jose Mourinho might well fancy a look at the Englishman.
