Vincent Kompany's side were toothless in the opening 45 minutes at the BayArena. It is the first time since records began in the 1990s that Bayern have failed to let fly in a full half of a Bundesliga match. Bayern eventually had a shot in the 74th minute through Harry Kane, but it was blocked.
