Liverpool's cut-price transfer for Chiesa from Juventus last summer did not pay dividends for the Reds as the Italian winger spent much of his time on the sidelines due to injury or fitness issues. As such, the Premier League champions are considering parting ways with Chiesa this summer, with Antonio Conte's Napoli said to be interested.

Italian journalist Valter De Maggio has reported that Napoli will face a challenge in their bid to sign Chiesa this summer. The report has suggested that Inter Milan, AC Milan are two of the sides that have joined the hunt to land the Euro 2020 winner's signature.

According to reports, Chiesa only played 104 minutes during the Premier League season (466 minutes across all competitions), and is reportedly paid £140,000 a week. As such, Liverpool are said to be keen on a potential bidding war, which would earn them an influx of cash.
